Chris Besenyoi Chris is one of the most knowledgeable and respected Technical Security Consultants in the industry today, with over 12 security system manufacturer certifications, a Certified Security Project Manager (CSPM) designation and a Certified Protection Officer (CPO) designation. Chris is also an Advanced CPTED Practitioner, has a certificate in Basic Emergency Management and has completed training for the PSP and CPP designations.

Chris started out his career in the private sector shortly after graduating from Police Foundations at Seneca College in 2003, spending 2 years as a security director in a troubled neighbourhood in downtown Toronto. From there, Chris moved on to the City of Toronto starting off as a part-time security guard and moving his way up the ladder to eventually become a full-time Security Project Manager within the Corporate Security Division. While working for the City, Chris was responsible for security related projects, from system design to commissioning, for many critical infrastructure, office and service buildings throughout the City.

After a number of years working as a Project Manager for the City of Toronto, Chris moved on and accepted a position within the Protection Services Division of the Royal Bank of Canada (RBC) as a Security Advisor. During Chris´s time at RBC he performed Threat and Risk Assessments (TRA´s) for RBC branches, head offices and RBC owned properties worldwide. Chris was also responsible for security related projects from system design to commissioning, for all RBC branches and RBC office towers within Canada and overseas.

Chris is a member of multiple security industry organizations including ASIS International, SIA and CANASA.
